Also, I've found that Firefox sometimes works better than Safari for viewing YouTube videos.


Find the video you want to watch on YouTube. Then restart the computer. (This clears the RAM so that it is all available for watching the video.) Relaunch your browser, and select the video from the browser's history. Don't have any other applications running except your browser when you're attempting to watch YouTube videos.

i was told that i can watch region 2 dvds on my apple powerbook if i downloaded the VLC player, which i did a while ago.
Chargeri changed my system preferences to open the VLC player when i insert a DVD but i got a whole stream of error messages, some of which i cut-and-pasted below. it just went on and on listing these errors.
does anyone know what they mean and how to fix it so i can use VLC on my laptop so i don't have to use the Mac's own dvd player and opt for one region or another?
